Change to the UCSC Google Sign-In Page

On Jan. 20, 2014 Google is changing the UCSC Google sign in page. The new sign-in page will have a consistent look across all the Google Apps services for everyone.

Here's what you need to know:

The current UCSC branded Google sign-in page can no longer be personalized with colors and custom logos. Goodbye Sammy the Slug logo!

The new sign-in page will now look the same across all Google Apps sign-in pages. As Google likes to say, "One account. All of Google."

On the new Google sign-in page, you will have to enter in your FULL UCSC email address (example: sammyslug@ucsc.edu) as your username.

Your password stays the same. Sign in with your current UCSC Blue password (email password).

Google hopes the change will improve security by getting all users accustomed to the same login process across all its services. Google also believes the redesign should make it easier for users to switch between accounts.
