Google Apps Available to UCSC

As part of the UCSC Google Apps Project, ITS turned on all Google consumer Apps (except Merchant Center, Chrome Web Store, and Marketplace) for the UCSC domain on September 20.
Google has two types of Apps, "core" and "consumer". You already have access to the UCSC core Google Apps, (email, calendar, docs/drive, groups, sites, chat, and mobile) and now you have access to use the Google consumer Apps if you'd like to - the choice is yours.
Here is a list of all the additional Google consumer Apps available to UCSC: http://its.ucsc.edu/google/consumerapps.html
It is now possible for you to use your UCSC account to access these consumer Apps and maintain separation between your UCSC and personal Google account. For instance, if you would like to share a Google Picasa album with your students or use Google Analytics with a UCSC website, you are able to use your @ucsc.edu account rather than your personal @gmail.com account.

You should be aware that each Google consumer App has its own, separate terms and conditions. You must also still adhere to UC policies and procedures in your use of your @ucsc.edu account.
