New Way to Navigate to Google Apps

Google has rolled out a new version of the Google bar (top black banner) for Google Apps for Education accounts.

Effective today, the black top navigation banner that lists our Core services - Mail, Drive, Calendar, Sites and Groups has been replaced with a new Google Apps Launcher. Looks like this: 

When you login to your UCSC Google account, you will see this message box appear after:

The new Google Apps launcher will appear in the upper right corner of the page and you access it by clicking on the grid icon like this:

According to Google, this new design is simpler and more consistent with mobile devices and Chrome OS. You will still have easy access to all the UCSC Google Apps services - just navigating to them will be a little different.
