Having a hard time finding Google Files or Emails?

Google is famous for their search engine, so much so "Google it" is now embedded into our vocabulary to mean to search for something in general. But often I hear people say, "I can't find anything in Google Drive or Gmail". Here's how to use Google's powerful search engine in Drive and Gmail:

Search for your files
You can search for a specific file or folder in Google Drive by typing a word or phrase into the search box at the top of the file list. This also searches on files that people have shared with you. There are advanced search options available too. More information: Search in Google Drive

Search for your emails
It can be difficult to browse through hundreds of old emails just to find the one you need. So try searching Gmail instead. More information: Search in Google Gmail
