Google has launched a completely revamped Google Sites and it's now available to everyone at UCSC.
With the new Google Sites, you can easily build functional web pages with the new intuitive drag-and-drop design experience that supports real-time collaboration by multiple editors, just like in Docs.
The new Sites also includes six new themes and layouts designed to scale and flex to any screen size, and the ability to track performance with Google Analytics.
The classic version of Sites will continue to exist in parallel with the new Sites. In 2017 Google will recommend options to migrate your existing sites from classic Sites to the new Sites. In 2018 Google plans to shut down the classic Sites module. The specific date has not yet been determined.
