There are three new sections in My Account that let you safeguard your data, protect your privacy, and decide how your information can make Google tools and services work better for you.
Sign-in & security
Manage your password and account-access settings.
Personal info & privacy
Manage your visibility settings and the data we use to personalize your experience.
Account preferences
Set language, accessibility, and other settings that help you use Google.
You can access My Account at: https://myaccount.google.com/ or after you log into your UCSC Google account, click on your photo icon located upper right of the page, and then click on the Account link.

NOTE: If you look at your sign-in and security-event history, you will see many "password change" events. Do not be alarmed by this! This is an artifact of how UCSC transitioned over to Google in 2011.
In addition, starting June 15, Google will launch Sign-in Email Alerts. Google will alert you when they are unable to determine if you have previously signed into your account or when someone besides yourself tries to access your account. You will also be able to view a list of recently used devices and new sign-ins, and if something looks suspicious, you can take action quickly.
