An upcoming update is bringing a new look to Gmail on mobile. With the new design, users can conveniently view attachments instantly without having to scroll through an entire conversation. It will also be easier to switch between different work and personal accounts.
A redesign of the color scheme helps users focus on important content. Also, an easily accessible search bar has been placed at the top of the screen.
Similar to the web version, the Gmail mobile app will display big, red warnings to alert users against phish-y emails.
UCSC users can expect to see these changes take place within the next 15 days.
