The Remove Formatting button can save you tons of time when copying / pasting text into your email message in Gmail or into a Google Doc in Drive.
Most of us do a lot of copying and pasting from other sources pretty frequently. Using Word, we use the paste special or paste and match formatting options.
Fortunately, Google has incorporated a Remove Formatting button that functions just like Word's paste and match formatting option. But most of us don't even know this option exists in Google!
