New Calendar Feature - Adding Events Automatically

How to Transfer Ownership of Google Drive Files
There are plenty of reasons why you may want to transfer ownership in Google Docs. If you are the owner, you might want to pass along responsibility of a project to someone else, especially if you are leaving UCSC. This will ensure that documents will remain accessible once your UCSC account is closed.

New Google Drive Doesn't Work with Unsupported Browsers
The new Google Drive that went live in our UCSC domain in April, (read announcement) is now a permanent change. Google has removed the option to return to the old Drive via the Settings drop down.

New! Access Google Photos from Drive
Beginning today, when you access your UCSC Google Drive you will see a pop-up notice introducing Google Photos. Click Got it and the Google Photo link is added to your Drive's left side navigation.

New Unlimited Storage
Effective immediately, all UCSC Google Apps accounts now have an unlimited amount of storage! Store as many Google Drive files, Gmail messages, and Google+ photos as you need. Google Drive also supports individual files up to 5TB (Terabyte) in size.

New Suggested Edits in Google Docs
Now in Google Docs, any person with "can comment" access to a document will be able to make suggested edits to the document. This is a great new addition to Google Docs!

New 'Move to Trash' option in Google Drive
Owners of a Google document, spreadsheet, or presentation are now able to move it to the trash from within its own File menu, rather than needing to do so from the Drive home page. Editors and viewers will see the 'Move to trash' option in the File menu, but it will be inactive and greyed out.

Google+ Hangouts in Google Calendar
You can add a Hangout to any Google Calendar event with just one click! Guests you invite will be able to join the video call by clicking on the calendar event and selecting the "Join video call" link.
